Allegro Playacar

Allegro Playacar is a beachfront all-inclusive hotel in the Playacar resort, in Playa del Carmen. The property has three pools, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a giant chessboard, billiard and ping-pong tables, and a theater that presents night shows. The 286 guest rooms are distributed in Caribbean-style bungalows and are fitted with air conditioning, minibar restocked every two days, in-room safe, and TV, as well as a balcony or terrace with hammock and views of the garden or the pool.

Facilities include a kids club for guests from 4 to 12 years, a beauty salon, three bars, a nightclub, and restaurants that serve appetizers or Mexican and Italian specialties. A variety of water activities such as kayak rides and snorkeling are also available. For special occasions, the resort has meeting areas, wedding planning services, and special amenities for honeymooners.

The hotel is located within the Playacar resort, which also includes a golf course and a lake, 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) from Fifth Avenue, a famous tourist corridor with brand stores, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Xcaret and Xplor parks are 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) away and Cancún International Airport (CUN) is 60 kilometers (37.3 mi) from the property.
